Karnataka NEET UG Counselling 2026: The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has revised the counselling registration deadline for Karnataka NEET UG 2026. Students who have qualified NEET UG entrance exam and are seeking admission to UG medical/dental courses across the state must register online through cetonline.karnataka.gov.in until July 30, 2026.
KEA Executive Director H. Prasanna, IAS, informed that the registration deadline has been extended following requests from candidates and parents. Earlier, it was July 24, 2026.
During the registration process, candidates are not required to enter their NEET roll number since the NEET UG result data has not been received yet. Once the authority receives the data, the facility to link to the NEET roll numbers will be made available.
How To Register For Karnataka NEET UG Counselling 2026?
Candidates must complete their registration process online before the deadline. Here are the key steps:
Step 1: Go to the official website at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.
Step 2: Under the UGNEET section, click on the registration link.
Step 3: Enter all mandatory details in the required fields.
Step 4: Upload documents if required.
Step 5: Pay the registration fee via online payment modes.
Step 6: Cross-check all details thoroughly and then submit the form.
NEET Roll Number Linking To Be Conducted Later
KEA has clarified that candidates who have already registered for the CET 2026 are not required to submit a fresh application. A separate portal will be activated through which they can add their NEET roll number to their CET applications. Once candidates have updated their NEET roll numbers, KEA will conduct the document verification process.
For participation in the counselling process, candidates must have qualified the NEET UG exam 2026 and fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria.
