Out of the total candidates, 2,92,645 students belong to the Science stream, 2,11,174 to Commerce, and 1,42,982 to Arts. This distribution highlights the varied academic preferences among students.

In Karnataka's 2nd PUC system, students are required to appear for the first (main) examination. However, the second and third examinations are optional and are intended to facilitate score improvement.

For these improvement examinations, students have the option to retake any subject for which they have already appeared in the first examination. There is no fixed limit on the number of subjects they may retake; this provides them with the flexibility to improve their scores in as many subjects as they wish.

Once the results are declared, students will be required to use their registration number to access and download their 2nd PUC memo cards from the official website.

The online marksheet will display subject-wise marks along with the overall result status. This provisional document can be used for admission purposes until the official hard copy is issued.

KSEAB is set to announce the 2nd PUC results shortly. This year, approximately 7,10,363 students registered for the Karnataka 2nd PUC examinations. This includes 6,46,801 fresh candidates, 50,540 repeaters, and 13,022 private candidates, reflecting a significant number of participants.,

Among the total candidates, 2,92,645 students were from the Science stream, 2,11,174 from Commerce, and 1,42,982 from Arts. Science had the highest number of students, followed by Commerce and Arts.

Last year, in 2025, the Karnataka 2nd PUC results were declared on April 8, with an overall pass percentage of 69.16 per cent. The highest pass rate of 82.45 per cent was recorded in the Science stream, followed by Commerce at 76.07 per cent, while the pass percentage for Arts stood at 53.29 per cent.

The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) will not declare the Class 12 PUC results on April 7, 2026, as earlier indicated. Students awaiting their results must note that the announcement has been postponed, creating anticipation among lakhs of candidates across the state.
