Women's Education: True equality does not begin when opportunities are offered; it begins much earlier, in whether women are taught to see themselves as capable of claiming those opportunities in the first place. That is why education matters so deeply, as it does more than build knowledge; it shapes confidence, expands awareness, and helps women question the limits that society often places around them from a very young age. Can Education weaken Patriarchal structures?
Education plays a critical role in weakening the foundations of patriarchy by undermining dependency theories and gender stereotypes. While these concepts cannot be changed overnight, the process of dismantling them begins as soon as women acquire the necessary knowledge and financial independence. Devyani Jaipuria believes that when women are educated, they set new standards that challenge traditional limits placed upon them.
What makes an educational system truly empowering?
