In a major departure from previous trends, the administration released the results for all four main streams; science, commerce, arts, and vocational education- simultaneously on the same day.

Over four lakh students across the state had registered for the offline board examinations, which were systematically conducted at various examination centres from February 18 to March 25, 2026. CHSE Odisha 12th Toppers list 2026 consists of the best-performing students who got exceptionally good marks out of 500 marks. The Board does not release the toppers' list.

Last year, the Science stream recorded a pass percentage of 87.50 per cent, followed by Commerce at 83.20 per cent and Arts at 79.31 per cent.

Girls showcased an exceptional performance in the examinations by outranking boys and securing a 87.24% pass rate. On the other hand, boys attained a pass percentage of 77.88%.

In 2024, the overall performance in the CHSE Odisha Class 12 examinations was encouraging, with pass percentages of 86.93% in Science, 82.27% in Commerce, and 80.95% in Arts. Girls outperformed boys across all streams, achieving pass rates of 87.74% in Science, 85.55% in Commerce, and 87.56% in Arts.
