CBSE Class 12 Re-Evaluation Portal:  The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially reopened its dedicated web portal today, June 1, 2026, to accept online applications for the verification of Class 12 answer books, re-totalling of marks, and re-evaluation. Initially, the portal was scheduled to open around 12 PM. However, many students and parents are currently experiencing considerable anxiety regarding the portal's launch, as a message reading "Under Maintenance" is appearing on the server link during the scheduled opening time.

Even after the revised launch date arrived, students reported that the re-evaluation link was still unavailable.

CBSE recently announced on Twitter that the student verification and re-evaluation portal will go live soon, following an official announcement.

It is important to note that this facility is available only to those students who have already completed the initial process of applying for and downloading scanned copies of their evaluated answer sheets. Students who identify any calculation errors or unchecked answers in their answer sheets may log in to challenge their marks.

CBSE Re-evaluation Processing Fee Structure Revised:

The board has established a clear, fixed processing fee model for students requesting changes to their scores. Aspirants must submit these processing charges through the integrated digital payment gateways provided inside the application portal:

Per-Question Challenge Fee: Students who want to challenge the evaluation of a specific, individual question must pay a fee of  Rs 25 per question.

Complete Answer Book Re-Totaling Fee: Students requesting a comprehensive recount of all marks across an entire answer sheet must pay a processing fee of Rs 100 per copy.
