CBSE To Issue Revised Class 12th Marksheet 2026

CBSE clarified that the results obtained after re-evaluation will be considered final. If the re-evaluation results in an increase, a revised marksheet will be issued, while if the re-evaluation results in a decrease, the reduced marks will be applied. In such cases, students will be required to submit their old marksheets, after which a new one will be issued. The board also clarified that no appeals will be accepted after the re-evaluation.

Special Training Given to Teachers

According to the board, detailed guidelines have been provided to teachers to ensure a fair and error-free evaluation process. They have also been provided with training and practice sessions to ensure there are no discrepancies in the evaluation of answer sheets.

CBSE Defends OSM Evaluation System

CBSE says the on-screen marking system eliminates physical handling of answer sheets, thereby strengthening both confidentiality and transparency. This system is also environmentally friendly, making the evaluation process faster and more effective. The Board reiterated its full commitment to maintaining a fair, transparent, and reliable evaluation system for students.
