No Merit List and Grace Marks Policy

CBSE does not publish a merit list for Class 10 examinations. The board only provides marks and pass or fail status to discourage rank-based competition among students.

In certain borderline cases, CBSE may award grace marks to students who narrowly miss the passing criteria. However, such concessions are granted according to the board's internal guidelines and no separate notification is issued regarding the same.
