BSEB Educational Push: To strengthen Bihar’s education system, the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) announced two major educational updates. These include free online coaching for NEET and JEE and the launch of the Vidya Saathi application for 24/7 teacher support. Aiming to assist students through their preparation journey for competitive exams, BSEB announced these educational initiatives following the instructions of Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary.

Free Online Coaching For Classes 11 And 12

Ensuring that students continue their preparation smoothly for JEE and NEET entrance exams, the Board has expanded its free online coaching across 155 selected Saraswati Vidya Niketan Model Schools for students of Classes 11th and 12th. The  BSEB Chairman Thiyagarajan SM highlighted experience teachers are conducting this free online coaching, which is proving to be beneficial for the students. 

Initially, the initiative was conducted at two physical locations, Bankipur Girls' School and Patna Collegiate. At these centres, students were provided residential facilities,  free accommodation and food, along with high-quality education from experienced teachers. The classrooms have been equipped with modern facilities, ensuring students get the best educational experience. 

“Expanding on this, recently, physical classes are being conducted across 21 such centres. In these centres as well, high-quality teachers are available. These are distributed across nine divisions and are operational in all places. And as of today, in the next phase, we are moving forward by extending JEE and NEET coaching online across 155 model schools," the chairman said.


Vidya Saathi App for 24/7 Student Support

Alongside the free coaching initiative, BSEB has also launched a 24/7 teacher support application called the Vidya Saathi. It is an interactive application connecting students from Classes 9 to 12 across 700 Model Schools. The app is designed to provide free teacher consultancy throughout the day for clearing subject-related doubts. Students can connect to the respective teachers if they want to understand different topics. Candidates preparing for competitive examinations such as NEET and JEE can use this app to brush up on their preparation.
