RR vs MI IPL 2026: The high-octane matchup between Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and Jasprit Bumrah was just brilliant as the young teen sensation had smashed the star fast bowler for a first-ball six. This dream became a reality on Tuesday when the Rajasthan Royals locked horns with the Mumbai Indians during a rain-induced match in Guwahati. The youngster didn't just hit one but two sixes during Bumrah's over and had left the fans entertained.
Both the fans and the players were left annoyed after waiting three hours for the IPL 2026 match between MI and RR to start, with the toss repeatedly delayed by persistent rain. But it did stop raining, and the match was reduced to 11 overs per side in Guwahati.
When Yashasvi Jaiswal had hit Deepak Chahar for 22 runs during the first over, the key matchup between Sooryavanshi and Bumrah began, and this is what the fans were waiting for since the evening.

It didn't matter how successful Bumrah has been; Sooryavanshi didn't spear the veteran pacer. When the youngster set his eyes on the ball, he smashed it for a huge six as it went over long-on. Facing Bumrah again after a few balls, the teen sensation had smashed another six towards the stands. This time the ball went over backward square leg.
