June 17 is set to be an action-packed day for Indian cricket fans, with three distinct national teams, including the senior men's team, the India-A squad, and the senior women's team, scheduled to play their international fixtures. In total, five major international cricket matches will be played globally tomorrow.
India-A vs Afghanistan-A (Tri-Nation Series)
The day's proceedings began this morning as the Tilak Varma-led India-A team faced Afghanistan-A in the ongoing Tri-Series in Sri Lanka. This fixture carries substantial weight for the Indian side, having conceded defeats in their opening two matches of the tournament. India-A requires a victory to avoid a third consecutive loss.
