The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) have announced the India A squad for the upcoming ODI Tri Series, which will take place in Sri Lanka later this year. India's T20 World Cup 2026 winning star Tilak Varma has been rewarded with captaincy, and India star Riyan Parag, who is leading Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026, will be his deputy.
Apart from Tilak and Riyan, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is also one of the notable inclusions in India's squad. Vaibhav is currently flexing his form in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026, where he has amassed 440 runs in 11 matches so far.

India A's schedule
The tri-series will feature hosts Sri Lanka A, India A and Afghanistan A. After this Tri-series, India A will also play two multi-day matches against Sri Lanka A, with the squad for the red-ball fixtures to be announced at a later date. The white ball series will take place in Dambulla, while the multi-day matches will take place in Galle.
