DC vs GT IPL 2026 Toss Update: Delhi Capitals will lock horns with Gujarat Titans during their next IPL 2026 match in Delhi on Wednesday. The Delhi-based franchise has remained unbeaten till now, whereas GT hasn't won a single match.
For the Gujarat-based franchise, skipper Shubman Gill has rejoined the playing XI after recovering from his neck spasm. He participated in the toss with DC skipper Axar Patel.
Speaking about the toss, DC won it and chose to bowl first. At the same time, GT skipper Gill revealed that they wanted to bat first anyway.

Axar Patel (Delhi Capitals captain): "We will bowl first. We chased well in the last two games. It is a new wicket, and that's why we want to chase."

Shubman Gill (Gujarat Titans Captain): "[On his neck] It's much better. Thank you. [Is it the same injury that occurred during the Test series?] It's something similar. [Thoughts on batting first?] Actually, we were gonna bat first anyway. Hopefully, the weather stays the same, and there won't be any dew.
