KKR vs PBKS IPL 2026: Shah Rukh Khan, who is the co-owner of Kolkata Knight Riders, attended their IPL 2026 match against Punjab Kings at Eden Gardens on Monday. The host won the toss and chose to bat first against PBKS. They didn't have a great start to their innings as opener Finn Allen (6 off 7 balls) and Cameron Green (4 off 2 balls) were dismissed during the second over by Xavier Bartlett. After that, the rain spoiled the match. It was at that time that Shah Rukh Khan was seen in an animated conversation with Venky Mysore, the CEO of KKR. Ajinkya Rahane won the toss and chose to bat first. Earlier, Ajinkya Rahane won the toss for KKR and chose to bat first against the Shreyas Iyer-led PBKS, setting the stage for a high-octane clash at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Chakravarthy had sustained an injury when he took a catch in their previous match.

"We are going to bat first. It looks like a good wicket. It's a little bit on the drier side, but still very good with less grass covering. It's all about having belief and confidence. Winning those small moments is key. We are confident. There are two forced changes. Varun Chakravarthy got injured while taking a catch in the last game. Narine isn't playing. Powell and Saini are in," Rahane said at the toss.

On the other hand, PBKS captain Shreyas Iyer revealed that they will field the same XI.
