RCB vs RR IPL 2026: Rajasthan Royals clinched their fourth consecutive win of the season on Friday, defeating defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru by 6 wickets at the Barsapara stadium in Guwahati. The highlight of the match was 15-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, who smashed RCB bowlers with utmost ease and hit 78 runs off just 26 deliveries, including 7 sixes and 8 fours.

Sooryavanshi completed his fifty in 15 balls, matching his own record of fastest fifty in IPL 2026. His innings against RCB came at a strike rate of 300, with the young sensation hitting 78 runs off just 26 balls. Earlier last week, Sooryavanshi slammed a half-century in just 15 balls against CSK, and finished his innings at 52 off just 17 balls at a strike rate of 305+.

With those innings, the 15-year-old prodigy has scripted a unique record in IPL. Sooryavanshi has become the only batter in the history of IPL to score multiple fifty-plus scores at a strike rate of 300 or more after the completion of the innings (whether out or not out). Overall, seven batters have scored fifty-plus scores at a strike rate of 300, but none has repeated the feat.
