With those innings, the 15-year-old prodigy has scripted a unique record in IPL. Sooryavanshi has become the only batter in the history of IPL to score multiple fifty-plus scores at a strike rate of 300 or more after the completion of the innings (whether out or not out). Overall, seven batters have scored fifty-plus scores at a strike rate of 300, but none has repeated the feat.

Apart from this unique record, Sooryavanshi is also the youngest batter in T20 cricket, played globally, to score multiple fifties at a strike rate of 300+ in a completed inning. Sooryavanshi slammed a half-century at a strike rate of 300 when he was 14 years old for India A last year. Then, in the Rajasthan Royals' opening game against CSK, he scored a 50 at that strike rate at 15 years of age. He achieved the feat again against Bengaluru on Friday.
