RCB vs KKR IPL 2026: The latest update states that the high-stakes showdown between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Kolkata Knight Riders has been delayed due to persistent rain. Both teams planned to meet in Raipur, but heavy showers delayed the toss.

RCB and KKR were scheduled to face each other for the first time this season, but rain disrupted the match. Afternoon rainfall hit Raipur, followed by a brief period of sunshine.

But just half an hour before the toss, it did rain again and the groundstaff were seen covering the whole ground and thats why the toss was delayed. The fans of both the teams are concerned that the game will be washed out.

RCB vs KKR IPL 2026: Raipur Weather Update

Raipur received heavy rainfall. Not just rainfall, the venue also witnessed lightning and thunder. The whole ground was covered and a lot of water collected on the venue.

But there is some good news as well that it won't rain a lot. As per accuweather.com, there is just 2% chance of rainfall playing a spoilsport in the whole match with 5% cloudy sky. This means that it will stop raining soon and it will be interesting to see how much time that the groundstaff will take to prepare the ground.
