PBKS vs SRH IPL 2026 Toss: Punjab Kings will lock horns with Sunrisers Hyderabad during their next IPL 2026 match at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur on Saturday. Both teams will try to win this upcoming clash.

The Shreyas Iyer-led side began the season strongly and remains undefeated, aiming to continue their winning streak.

They faced the Kolkata Knight Riders in their previous match, which was abandoned due to incessant rain, so they are playing this match soon after.

They will rely on their opening duo, Prabsimran Singh and Priyansh Arya. The pair will aim for a strong start. Their partnership will be crucial for a big target.

The Hyderabad-based franchise has had a mixed campaign till now. They did lose two of their first three matches and are still trying to be consistent.

They will yet again be dependent on the opening duo of Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma. But they are also missing the services of their own skipper and star pacer Pat Cummins, and that has had a huge impact on their bowling lineup.

Toss Update: Punjab Kings skipper Shreyas Iyer won the toss and has chosen to bowl first.

It should be noted that the Ishan Kishan-led side has made two changes to its playing XI, with Salil Arora and Eshan Malinga replacing Liam Livingstone and Jaydev Unadkat.

As far as the host is concerned, they have made just one change to their playing XI, with Priyansh Arya replacing Nehal Wadhera.

Ishan Kishan (Sunrisers Hyderabad Captain): "[Thoughts on batting first?] We would have loved to bowl first. But the wicket looks pretty hard for me, and it's about playing good cricket.

[On leading the side in the absence of Pat Cummins] It's a big disadvantage for any team. Pat is a great, experienced player. But we have a young side. We have to execute our plans in the middle.

[Changes?] We have 2 changes. Salil comes in place of Livingstone, and Praful is making his debut today. He comes in place of Jaydev Unadkat."

Shreyas Iyer (Punjab Kings Captain): "[On toss decision] We are going to bowl first.

Asked if PBKS is bowling first because it is a day gam:] Yes, absolutely. It is a day game. We want to assess how the wicket plays. We hope to get a fair idea.g.
