PBKS vs SRH IPL 2026: Abhishek Sharma, who is currently the world's No. 1 T20I batter, has scripted history as he has become the first batter to have smashed five quick half-centuries in this tournament off just 20 balls. The youngster is currently representing Sunrisers Hyderabad as an opener during their IPL 2026 match against Punjab Kings in Mullanpur and had needed just 18 balls to bring up his half-century. He smashed his fifty by hitting a six during Vijaykumar Vyshak's over.
During IPL 2025, Abhishek had scored 50 runs once off 16 balls, once off 18 balls, and twice off 19 balls.

Three batters- KL Rahul, Pat Cummins, and Romario Shepherd have hit a half-century off 14 balls, and five batters- Yusuf Pathan, Sunil Narine, Pooran, Jake Fraser-McGurk, and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi have smashed a half-century off 15 balls apiece.
Jake Fraser-McGurk and Sooryavanshi are the only two batters in the history of this tournament to have smashed multiple fifties off 15 balls or fewer.
