IPL 2026: The Chennai Super Kings are struggling in the ongoing IPL season. They have lost three consecutive matches and scored zero points, which is why they are at the bottom of the points table. Although they are trying to make a brilliant comeback, the fans are eagerly waiting to see MS Dhoni in action again.
Dhoni didn't feature in the first three matches this year due to a calf strain. According to reports, the ex-CSK skipper is currently in rehab due to the injury and will need at least another week to regain full fitness. But away from all the hype again, he has started grinding it out during a training session.
A video has gone viral on social media, showing Dhoni smashing sixes and trying to run between the wickets. The CSK management hasn't revealed anything official about the star wicketkeeper-batter's availability ahead of their next match at home against the Axar Patel-led side. Still, this viral video has lifted CSK fans' mood.

According to a Cricbuzz report, MS Dhoni will miss the IPL 2026 match against the Delhi-based franchise on Saturday.
He is currently in rehab due to his injury and will need at least a week more to reach full match fitness. The report further revealed that the Chennai-based franchise is hopeful of his return for their IPL match against KKR.
The former champions had been dealt another injury blow as South Africa's star batter Dewald Brevis is also recovering from his injury. But Kasi Vishvanathan, the CEO of this franchise, is also hopeful about his return.
