Mother’s Day was celebrated across the cricket world on Sunday as several well-known personalities shared heartfelt messages for mothers on social media.

Among them were Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, ICC Chairman Jay Shah and young Rajasthan Royals batter Vaibhav Sooryavanshi.

Sachin Tendulkar on Mother's Day

Tendulkar shared an emotional message on X, writing, “Change is the only constant in this world, except a mother’s love for you. Happy Mother’s Day.” His words quickly connected with fans, with many praising the simple but meaningful tribute.

Widely regarded as one of the greatest cricketers in history, Tendulkar often shares messages with fans during festivals and important occasions. Even years after retirement, the former India batter continues to enjoy a massive fan following around the world.

ICC Chair Jay Shah

Jay Shah also posted a heartfelt message on the occasion. The ICC Chairman spoke about the important role mothers play in shaping every success story.

“A mother’s support is the foundation of every success story. On this Mother’s Day, I extend my heartfelt wishes to all the incredible mothers,” Shah wrote on X.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi

Meanwhile, young Rajasthan Royals batter Vaibhav Sooryavanshi also won hearts with his emotional Mother’s Day post during the ongoing Indian Premier League. Ahead of Rajasthan Royals’ clash against Gujarat Titans in Jaipur, the 15-year-old shared a touching message for his mother on Instagram.

“This one’s for you, maa,” Vaibhav wrote in his post, which quickly went viral on social media. Fans praised the youngster for the heartfelt tribute both on and off the field.

Talking about Tendulkar’s achievements, the batting icon still holds several major records in international cricket. He remains the highest run-scorer in cricket history with 34,357 international runs across formats.

The cricketing legend also has the most centuries in both Test and ODI cricket. Tendulkar amassed 15,921 runs and 51 hundreds in Tests.
