MI vs PBKS IPL 2026: Punjab Kings star fast bowler Arshdeep Singh has become the 31st player to have taken 100 wickets in this tournament in their match against the Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium on Thursday. He achieved this milestone after dismissing Ryan Rickleton.
He has represented Punjab Kings in all 87 of his IPL matches, previously known as Kings XI Punjab, and has become the side's highest wicket-taker.
He is also India's highest wicket-taker in the shortest format, having taken 127 wickets across 87 matches, and was part of India's T20 World Cup-winning team.
Post taking his first wicket of Rickleton, he also dismissed Suryakumar Yadav during his second delivery of the third over of the first innings. While Shashank Singh took Rickleton's catch, it was Yuzvendra Chahal who took Suryakumar's catch.
Apart from Arshdeep, who has taken the most wickets for the Punjab-based franchise in this tournament, Piyush Chawla is the other bowler to have done the same. He has represented PBKS in 87 IPL matches between 2008 and 2013, taking 84 wickets.

Sunil Narine has the record of taking the most wickets for a single team in this tournament. He has represented Kolkata Knight Riders in 193 matches since his 2012 debut, taking 195 wickets. Jasprit Bumrah is lying in the second position in this list as he has taken 183 wickets after playing in 150 IPL matches for the Mumbai-based franchise.
