DC vs GT IPL 2026: The Gujarat Titans are set to face the Delhi Capitals in their IPL 2026 match on Wednesday. The match is being held at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. While batting at the No.3 position, Jos Buttler scored a brilliant knock of 52 runs off 27 balls for the Gujarat-based franchise, where he had hit three fours and five sixes against DC.

Buttler, who was roped in for a whopping amount of Rs 15.75 crore by GT during IPL 2025 mega auction, has smashed all five of his sixes during the first six overs and has thus scripted history.

He has become the second non-opener in the history of this tournament to have smashed five sixes during the first six overs of an innings. He also surpassed Suresh Raina's tally, who had hit five sixes for CSK during the first six overs of the second qualifier during IPL 2014 against Punjab Kings at the Wankhede Stadium.

Buttler had hit the first six during the third over of the first innings, which Mukesh Kumar bowled, and he then smashed his second six during Axar Patel's over.

During the first over, which Mukesh bowled, Buttler had smashed three sixes and had added 23 runs.

When Buttler had smashed his fifth six, he had also achieved the milestone of smashing 600 sixes in the shortest format. He had become the first non-West Indies batter to have smashed 600 sixes in T20S.

Kieron Pollard is lying in second position in this list as he has hit 982 sixes after playing in 735 matches. Andre Russell, who is also KKR's power coach in the ongoing season, has smashed 784 sixes after playing in 590 matches, and Nicholas Pooran has hit 712 sixes after playing in 445 T20 matches.
