MI vs LSG IPL 2026: Mumbai Indians star bowler Raghu Sharma celebrated by flashing a cryptic note after claiming his first wicket of the tournament on Monday. Playing his debut match against Lucknow Super Giants, he dismissed fellow debutant Akshat Raghuvanshi. During the 13th over of the first innings, Raghu executed a sharp catch off his own bowling, marking his opening wicket. He withdrew a note from his pocket and revealed it to the stands. The note said, "Radhe Radhe. A very painful 15 years by divine mercy of Gurudeva ended today. Thanks Mumbai Indians (Blue and Gold) for giving me this opportunity. Ever grateful. Jai Shri Ram". Raghu posted impressive figures in his four overs.

The Rishabh Pant-led side, anchored at the bottom of the points table, finally experienced relief as Nicholas Pooran registered his first fifty of the ongoing season, propelling the team to a formidable target of 228 runs.
After collecting just four points and languishing last in the points table, the Lucknow-based franchise delivered a spirited batting display in their ninth match. Mitchell Marsh powered an explosive 63 off 21 balls, while opener Marsh also contributed a strong 44 runs. However, Pant's struggles with the bat persisted—limited to 15 runs in an otherwise frustrating season. Aiden Markram (31 not out) and Himmat Singh (40 not out) sparked a late rally.
Suryakumar Yadav captains the Mumbai franchise in place of regular skipper Hardik Pandya, who missed the match due to illness. Rohit Sharma returned to the playing XI as an impact player.
