Former Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) captain Virat Kohli and his wife, Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma, visited Premanand Maharaj's Keli Kunj Ashram in Vrindavan after the Bengaluru-based franchise suffered a six-wicket defeat in their last Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 outing against Delhi Capitals (DC) at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
The couple sought spiritual guidance and blessings while also engaging in "Ekantik Vartalaap" (private spiritual conversation) with Premanand Ji Maharaj. Notably, defending champions RCB will now face the Gujarat Titans in their upcoming clash on April 24 at their home ground. The couple's video of visiting the Ashram has gone viral on social media. Virat and Anushka's spiritual visits
Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma recently made another visit to the ashram, marking their third trip there in the last five months. The couple has been visiting quite often, and this was already their second visit this year. Earlier, they had gone to Vrindavan in February, soon after celebrating their son Akaay’s birthday on the 15th.

Last year too, they visited the ashram three times, first in January with their kids, then in May just a day after Kohli announced his retirement from Test cricket, and once again in December.

During a previous visit, the spiritual leader had spoken to them about the true purpose of life and how devotion, guided by a guru, plays an important role in that journey.
Over the past few years, Kohli and Anushka have clearly shown a growing interest in spirituality. In 2023, they visited the Mahakaleshwar Temple and the Neem Karoli Baba Ashram, along with other religious sites.
RCB's IPL 2026 performance
Meanwhile, Kohli’s IPL team, RCB, is doing well this season. They are currently in second place on the points table, with four wins and two losses from six matches.
