After the match, an elated Sooryavanshi posted triumphant pictures on his official Instagram account, his caption—'hungry for more'—resonating with fans still caught up in the euphoria of his extraordinary performance.

He blazed his way to five fours and 12 sixes, thrilling the crowd with his fearless strokeplay and remarkable strike rate of 334.48. By winning the Eliminator, the Riyan Parag-led Rajasthan Royals advance to face the Gujarat Titans in Qualifier 2. The winner of this match will earn a spot in the final against the defending champions, Royal Challengers Bengaluru.

Sooryavanshi’s audacious effort ignited a wave of admiration across the cricketing world, uniting fans and legends alike in their praise for the young sensation.

In that same captivating knock against Pat Cummins’ men, he soared past Gayle’s record for the most sixes in a single edition—an achievement met with thunderous applause and awe among cricket lovers.

He has smashed 65 sixes and has gone past Gayle's record of 59 after almost 10 years.

During an interaction on Jiostar, AB de Villiers lauded Vaibhav Sooryavanshi's maturity and composure and said, "What stood out most about Vaibhav's innings was his composure and clarity under pressure at just 15 years of age. Pat Cummins and SRH kept trying different plans, but he stayed completely locked into his own bubble throughout the innings. That level of game awareness in a knockout match is remarkable for someone so young".

After scoring 680 runs at a strike rate of 242.86, Vaibhav will aim to help his team win Qualifier 2 against the Shubman Gill-led side, which would qualify Rajasthan Royals for the IPL final for the first time since 2022.
