DC vs CSK IPL 2026: Chennai Super Kings opener Sanju Samson and young batter Kartik Sharma powered their team to an eight-wicket win over Delhi Capitals at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Tuesday. Samson delivered an authoritative 87 off 52 balls, while Kartik Sharma contributed a brisk 41 off 31 balls.

Samson had scored his match-winning knock off just 52 balls, in which he had smashed seven fours and  six sixes and had batted throughout the innings and helped the team chase the target during 17.3 overs and that has boosted their net run rate a lot. 

After choosing to bat first on a  pitch like this, the  host were stopped at 155 runs. Star spinner Akeal Hossein had set the foundation with the help of new ball and had  registered brilliant figures of 1/19, which also includes 14 dot balls.

After reeling at 69/5 in 11  overs, Tristan Stubbs (38*; 31 balls) and Sameer Rizvi (40 not out 24 balls), had stitched a partnership of 65 runs and helped the team post a respectable target.
