CSK vs DC IPL 2026: Chennai Super Kings' star bowler Jamie Overton registered brilliant figures of 4/18 and helped the team defeat Delhi Capitals by 23 runs at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Saturday. Sanju Samson also smashed an unbeaten century and helped set a mammoth target of 212 runs.
While batting first, Samson has smashed four sixes and 15 fours in his brilliant match-winning knock and has also built important partnerships of 62 runs with Ruturaj Gaikwad (15), 113 runs with Ayush Mhatre (59) and unbeaten 37 run partnership with Shivam Dube (20) and helped the host post a mammoth target of 212 runs.
While chasing, the Axar Patel-led side were skittled out of 189 runs as Pathum Nissanka (41 off 24) and Tristan Stubbs (60 off 38) were the only batters who made significant contributions.
Jamie Overton (4/18) was the pick among the CSK bowler whereas Gurjapneet Singh (1/49), Anshul Kamboj (3/35) and Khaleel Ahmed (1/40) also took wickets at regular intervals.
