MI vs SRH IPL 2026: Ryan Rickelton enjoyed a stellar return to the playing XI, scoring the fastest century in MI's history during their IPL 2026 match against Sunrisers Hyderabad in Mumbai. The Protea batter reached his first IPL hundred in just 44 balls and etched his name in the Mumbai franchise record books. He surpassed previous benchmarks set by Sanath Jayasuriya (2008) and Tilak Varma (2026), both on 45 balls, highlighting the authority of his innings.

Rickleton displayed remarkable skill and aggressive intent. Replacing Quinton de Kock in the playing XI, he immediately made a decisive impact.

He opened with Will Jacks, forging a 93-run partnership that laid the foundation for a substantial target. After Jack's dismissal, Rickleton continued his dominance, forming another productive partnership with Naman Dhir.
He reached the milestone in the 15th over, smashing seven sixes and eight fours, putting pressure on opposition bowlers. Rickleton now leads MI's fastest century list, overtaking Cameron Green and Suryakumar Yadav.

MI's fastest centuries list: Rickleton leads with 44 balls vs SRH at Wankhede (2026), followed by Jayasuriya (45 balls vs CSK, Wankhede, 2008), Tilak Varma (45 balls vs GT, Ahmedabad, 2026), Cameron Green (47 balls vs SRH, Wankhede, 2023), and Suryakumar (49 balls vs GT, Wankhede, 2023).
MI reshuffle, Rohit Sharma still out
MI captain Hardik Pandya won the toss and chose to bat first. They made a few changes to their playing XI, with De Kock ruled out due to a wrist injury and Robin Minz included.
Hardik also provided an update on Rohit Sharma's availability, who is still recovering and said, "Rohit will need a couple of more games. He's trying, but it's not up to the mark", Hardik was heard as saying at the toss.
Rickleton's outstanding century not only helped MI set a formidable target but also added a new record to their storied batting history.
