RR vs LSG IPL 2026: Rajasthan Royals star opener Vaibhav Sooryavanshi smashed the team to victory over Lucknow Super Giants by seven wickets in Jaipur on Tuesday. He blasted a match-winning knock of 93 runs off 38 balls. Dhruv Jurel also hammered a brilliant knock of 53 runs off 38 balls. With this win, the Rajasthan-based franchise remains in contention for the playoffs.

While batting first, Mitchell Marsh had scored a gritty knock of 96 runs off 57 balls and helped the Lucknow-based franchise post a mammoth target of 220 runs. 

Marsh then stitched a partnership of 109 runs with Josh Inglis (60 off 29 balls) for the first wicket and then built a partnership of 64 runs off 42 balls with captain Rishabh Pant.

In reply, Sooryavsnhi (93 off 38) and stand-in captain Yashasvi Jaiswal (43) had built a match-winning partnership of 75 runs for the first wicket. Post Jaiswal's dismissal, Sooryavanshi then stitched a match-winning partnership of 105 runs with Dhruv Jurel (53 not out) and helped the team chase the target in 19.1 overs. 

Yash Raj Punja (2/35) was the pick among the RR bowlers as he took two wickets. 

LSG: 220 for five in 20 overs (Mitchell Marsh 96, Josh Inglis 60; Yash Raj Punja 2/35).
