CSK vs MI IPL 2026: Ramakrishna Ghosh has seized attention as he makes his IPL debut against the Mumbai Indians at M.A. Chidambaram Stadium. CSK acquired him for Rs 30 lakh and included him in the playing XI.

Ghosh joined the playing XI, replacing Gurjapneet Singh, while Prashant Veer came in for Akeal Hussain. His selection is timely, as CSK seeks to recover momentum this season.

A right-arm medium-fast bowler and right-handed batter, Ghosh built his reputation with standout performances for Maharashtra in domestic cricket. He impressed in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, posting remarkable figures of 7/42 against Himachal Pradesh to become one of the few players to achieve a seven-fer in List A.
