DC vs CSK IPL 2026: Chennai Super Kings' premier spinner dropped the catch of a Delhi Capitals batter during their IPL 2026 match in Delhi on Tuesday, giving Tristan Stubbs a crucial lifeline as he rallied DC after another batting collapse. Stubbs had just entered the crease when Ahmed missed the catch in Gurjapneet's over.

Axar Patel won the toss and elected to bat, a choice that soon backfired as opener Pathum Nissanka fell to Mukesh Chaudhary for 19, followed by Akeal Hossein removing KL Rahul for 12.

Noor Ahmed removed Karun Nair after 13, and Nitish Rana departed for 15. DC captain Axar Patel managed just two runs in Gurjapneet's over, before Rizvi and Stubbs stabilized the hosts.

Stubbs produced a determined 38 before Jamie Overton dismissed him. Rizvi contributed an impressive 40, helping DC reach 155.

Ruturaj Gaikwad's team started poorly, losing to RR, PBKS, and RCB, then rebounded strongly by defeating DC and KKR. After losing to Pat Cummins' side, they recovered to beat MI twice and also overcame Shubman Gill's team.
