SRH vs PBKS IPL 2026: Punjab Kings opener Cooper Connolly hammered his first IPL century, compiling a stunning 107 off 59 balls. Despite his heroics, Punjab Kings fell to Sunrisers Hyderabad by 33 runs at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad on Wednesday.
Heinrich Klaasen (69) and Ishan Kishan (55) made sure that the PBKS fielders paid for their poor fielding efforts and helped the host win the match by 33 runs and become the table toppers.
This pair had helped the team post a mammoth target of 235 runs when Shreyas Iyer chose to bowl.
While chasing, the Punjab-based franchise were skittled out for 202 runs and had suffered their third consecutive loss and are now lying at the second position.
Cooper Conolly played the role of a lone warrior for Punjab Kings by scoring a brilliant knock of 107 runs off 59 balls (7x4, 8x6) and didn't get any support from the other batters.
Klaasen, who had initially survived a nervy scare on nine runs, too advantage by smashing three fours and four sixes in his 43-ball knock.

Kishan, who too dropped two dropped catches, smashed a match-winning knock of 55 runs off 32 balls, which includes two fours and four sixes.
Yuzvendra Chahal was the pick among the PBKS bowlers as he registered figures of 1/32but had a forgetful outing as all the catches that were dropped happened during his overs.
