IND vs IRE: The Indian team will be playing in Belfast after 19 years. The BCCI revealed the schedule of the T20I series against Ireland on Saturday. The Men in Blue will face Ireland for a two-match T20I series before their white-ball series against England. Both matches will be held in Belfast in July.
It will be India's first T20I series following its 2026 T20 World Cup title. It will also be their first after the ODI series against Afghanistan. The Shubman Gill-led side will lock horns with Afghanistan for a one-off Test match. They will then play a three-match ODI series after the IPL 2026 ends. The ODI series will conclude on 20th June. Afterward, the Indian team will face England for the first T20I on 1st July.
"Team India (Senior Men) will travel to Ireland for a two-match T20I series in June 2026. They have toured Ireland three times in the past eight years: in 2018, 2022, and 2023. This tour will mark India’s return to Belfast for the first time since 2007," a statement released by the BCCI said.

IRELAND'S PACKED INTERNATIONAL SCHEDULE
The Ireland team has a hectic summer schedule. They will play a Test match against New Zealand, and then face India for a two-match T20I series in June. After this, Afghanistan will visit Ireland for a five-match ODI series later this year.

Apart from the home bilateral series, Ireland will face Nepal for a white-ball series. Their overseas schedule also includes a bilateral series against the UAE. They will face Pakistan for a multi-format series next year. It will be their first time visiting this country.
