MI vs SRH IPL 2026 Toss Update: Mumbai Indians are currently facing Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. This is an important match for  them as they have won just two matches of the seven that they have played till now.  

Speaking of the toss, two skippers Hardik Pandya and Pat Cummins entered the ground to flip the coin. The host won the toss and chose to bat first. 

Talking about the changes in the playing XI, Rohit Sharma has missed this match as well. At the same time, Robin Minz along with Ryan Rickleton has been included as Quinton de Kock and Mitchell Santner has been ruled out owing to an injury. Will Jacks has also been included as Sherfane Rutherford has been snubbed.

The Pat Cummins-led side has made just one change to their playing XI as Harsh Dubey has come in place of Shivang Kumar.

Hardik Pandya (Mumbai Indians Captain): "Ah, we are going to bat first. Looks like a good breezy evening. It's still cold compared to generally. So, I don't think dew is something we are going to keep in mind. We will look to bat well and then see how much we can score.

(What did they do during the 5-6 days break?) I think it was important for all of us to just reset, not get too complicated, just get a good couple of boys evening and also a good couple of sessions. We just ticked all the boxes, refreshed ourselves and now we are excited for the game.

Pat Cummins (Sunrisers Hyderabad Captain): "[Thoughts on bowling first] We would have bowled. A little bit of tackiness in the wicket. So, happy to bowl first.
