DC vs GT IPL 2026: Delhi Capitals' star batter David Miller's gritty knock of 41 runs off 20 balls went in vain as they lost the nail-biting thriller to Gujarat Titans by one run at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Wednesday. Kuldeep Yadav was dismissed by a runout on the last ball of the 20th over.

When DC needed just two runs to win off as many balls, David Miller suffered a brain-fade moment as he didn't take a single on the second last ball of Prasidh Krishna's over and then also gave a last ball a miss  as Kuldeep Yadav couldn't survive Jos Buttler's direct throw.

Shubman Gill performed brilliantly as he scored a match-winning fifty and helped the team post the mammoth target of 210 runs .

Apart from Gill, Jos Buttler as well made a significant contribution by scoring 52 runs off 27 balls whereas Washington Sundar also scored a half-century off 32 balls as DC won the toss and chose to bowl first.

Mukesh Kumar (2/55) and Lungi Ngidi (1/24) were the pick among the DC bowlers.

While chasing, KL Rahul's brilliant efforts went in vain as he and Pathum Nissanka stitched a 76 runs partnership for the first wicket and gave the host a flying start.

But besides them none of the other batters could put up significant contributions with the bat and then David Miller's gritty knock of 41 runs off 20 balls had kept them alive in the chase till the last over.

Rashid Khan registered match-winning figures of 3/17 for GT.
