CSK vs KKR IPL 2026: Chennai Super Kings star wicket-keeper batter scored a match-winning knock of 48 runs off 32 balls at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Tuesday and helped the team win the match by 32 runs. Star spinner Noor Ahmed also took three wickets.
While batting first, the host posted a mammoth target of 192 runs and they then skittled the Ajinkya Rahane-led side to 160 runs, where Noor Ahmed registered brilliant, match-winning figures of 4-0-21-3.
Rovman Powell (31 not out) and Ramandeep Singh (35) did put up a valiant fight but couldn't take the team across the line even though they stitched a brilliant partnership of 63 runs.
During the first innings, Sanju Samson (48) and Dewald Brevis (41) made significant contributions with the bat and helped the team post a mammoth target of 190 runs. Ayush Mhatre had smashed six fours and two sixes during his knock of 38 runs off 17 balls.
Kartik Tyagi was the pick among the KKR bowlers as he registered brilliant figures of 2/35 whereas Sunil Narine registered figures of 4-0-21-1.
