IT Stock Under Rs 50: Shares of Blue Cloud Softech Solutions Ltd will be in focus in the next trading session after the market opens on Wednesday, April 1, post Mahavir Jayanti Holiday on March 31.

The small-cap IT firm, which provides AI-based enterprise solutions, in its latest exchange filing, the company informed that it has received a new order from the Hyderabad City Police.

As part of the deal, the IT company is set to deploy artificial intelligence (AI)-based servers and GPU systems, as well as a social media monitoring platform called ‘Blura Saga’.

The new system will help city police analyse data, gather intelligence, and conduct key operations more effectively.

Bluora Saga helps detect fake news

According to the shared information, Blura Saga is an AI-based platform. It monitors and analyses social media activity in real time, helping to detect trends, identify fake news, and understand public mood.

This will provide an immediate warning to the authorities, helping them to respond faster.

According to the exchange filing, the project is significant for Blue Cloud as it strengthens the company’s capabilities to deliver AI and high-tech solutions and further expands its presence in the government security sector.

Share price history

In the last trading session, the small-cap IT stock settled in negative territory at Rs 18.04, down 4.75 per cent as compared to the last day's closing of Rs 18.94 amid a massive sell-off in the market.

The stock touched an intraday at Rs 19.12 and a low of Rs 17.86, respectively, during the intraday trade. Meanwhile, Blue Cloud Softech Solutions' market cap stood at Rs 1,358.56 crore.

According to BSE Analytics, the stock has returned 260.80 per cent in the last five years. However, it has fallen 28.04 per cent in the last three years, and the company's shares are down 3.15 per cent so far this year.
