If you are planning to withdraw your Provident Fund (PF), you may face difficulties for the next three days. The retirement savings body, the Employees' Provident Fund Organisation, has announced the closure of its online claims processing portal for three days. This is due to a major system migration. This move may temporarily delay Provident Fund withdrawals, transfers, and other services for members.

EPF Portal Will Remain Closed From June 26 To June 29

According to a notice issued on the EPFO member portal, the facility for submitting and processing claims will not be available from 12:00 midnight on June 26, 2026, to 11:59 pm on June 28, 2026. These services will resume from 12:00 midnight on June 29, 2026.

This move may temporarily impact provident fund withdrawals, transfers and other member-related services.

Why Will Claim Portal Stay Closed?

The EPFO stated that the outage is part of a planned database consolidation and software application upgrade to improve claims processing efficiency and user experience. The organisation described this process as a scheduled system migration aimed at providing faster, more reliable, and more secure services in the long run.

The organisation apologises for this temporary inconvenience and asks users to be patient during the upgrade. For assistance, it has asked members to contact its call center helpline number 14470.
