The Yamaha Tricity 300 scooter features three wheels for enhanced stability and improved balance. The Tricity 300 was recently unveiled with an airbag, and the system has been developed in collaboration with Autoliv. Yamaha Tricity 300: Airbag System

The Yamaha Tricity 300 features an airbag in the front apron, and it uses several advanced sensors that detect sudden impact. In case of a front collision, the airbag instantly deploys and provides cushion to the rider. The airbag system on the Yamaha Tricity 300 reduced the forward momentum to prevent the rider from being thrown forward. The system has been extensively tested, and customers can choose between the airbag and non-airbag variants.

Yamaha Tricity 300: Features

The Yamaha Tricity 300 features a full LED lighting setup with a split-style taillamp. It also gets a unified braking system that automatically balances braking between front and rear wheels, and it also features a traction control system. The Tricity 300 also features a 4.2-inch TFT display, which is paired with a 2.8-inch LCD screen. It also offers built-in navigation and smartphone connectivity with calls and music alerts on the go, a parking brake, a keyless start system, and a foot-operated brake.

Yamaha Tricity 300: Specs

The Yamaha Tricity 300 draws its power from a 292cc engine. The engine is paired with a V-belt automatic gearbox, and it can generate peak power and torque output of 28 PS and 28.9 Nm, respectively. The scooter has a claimed fuel-efficiency of 30.3 km/l, and the latest generation model comes equipped with a catalytic converter to meet the latest emission norms.
