Volkswagen Virtus Facelift 2026:  The Volkswagen Taigun facelift is all set to be launched tomorrow in India. Meanwhile, the prototype of the Volkswagen Virtus facelift 2026 was recently spied testing on the Indian roads. Notably, this is the first time that the Virtus facelift has been spied testing in the country. While the Hyundai Verna facelift has already been launched, the Skoda Slavia facelift and Honda City facelift are also being tested, and now, the brand seems to be testing the Volkswagen Virtus Facelift 2026 to compete against rivals.

Volkswagen Virtus Facelift: Expected Design

The prototype of the Volkswagen Virtus facelift was spied partially camouflaged, particularly at the front and rear ends. The Virtus facelift is expected to feature a revised set of LED DRLs, and the LED headlamps are expected to get a revised design too. The taillights on the test mule also seem to be revised, and a connecting lightbar is also expected at the rear. It is also expected to receive a new set of alloy wheels, an illuminated VW logo, and a red brake calliper that will be limited to the top-spec GT trims.

Volkswagen Virtus Facelift: Expected Features

The Volkswagen Virtus facelift 2026 is expected to receive minor updates inside the cabin. The Virtus facelift is expected to receive new and premium upholstery materials on the interior. It is also expected to feature a larger touchscreen for the infotainment screen with a new UI, sequential turn indicators, a panoramic sunroof, rear massaging seats, and more.

Volkswagen Virtus Facelift: Expected Engine Specs

While the Volkswagen Virtus facelift is expected to receive changes in terms of design and features, it is expected to remain completely unchanged in terms of its powertrain. The Virtus facelift 2026 will continue with the options of either a 1.0-litre TSI turbo petrol engine or a 1.5-litre TSI turbo petrol engine. The engine can be paired with a choice of either a 6-speed manual/automatic transmission or a 7-speed DSG transmission. While the 1.0-litre TSI generates 115 PS and 178 Nm torque, the 1.5-litre TSI turbo petrol unit can churn out a peak power and torque output of 150 PS and 250 Nm, respectively.
