Vingroup Green SM Taxi Services To Launch In India On June 5; Will Use Only VinFast Models

GSM Taxi Services In India:  Vingroup’s Green SM taxi services will launch its services in India from June 5, 2026, onwards. Vingroup also owns the Vietnamese electric car manufacturer, VinFast. The Green SM taxi services will commence its operations in Delhi-NCR, and it will expand its network to other Indian cities later.

Green SM Taxi Services: Only VinFast Cars

The Green SM Taxi services will rival the likes of Ola and Uber. However, while both of these ride-hailing platforms use models from different car manufacturers, the Green SM Taxi services will only use VinFast cars. The VinFast Limo Green will be the first model to be used by the ride-hailing platform in the country. The VinFast Limo Green is available in the Indian market as the VinFast VF MPV7. We also expect the ride-hailing platform to use the upcoming VinFast VF5 electric SUV in its lineup.

Green SM Taxi Services: A Look

The Green SM Taxi service was established in 2023 by Pham Nhat Vuong, founder of VinFast. Green SM currently offers taxi services in Malaysia, Vietnam, and the Philippines, and it also has a dedicated ride booking app. While the Green SM taxi service will use the VinFast VF MPV7, it will use a more basic and less feature-loaded version of the electric MPV.
