Tata Sierra CNG: Tata Sierra CNG: Tata has confirmed that the Tata Sierra AWD and the Tata Sierra CNG are in the pipeline. Recently, spy shots of a Tata Sierra test mule surfaced online, hinting that the testing phase has begun for the Tata Sierra CNG. Now, a test mule of the SUV with emission testing equipment has been spied on the Indian roads. Let’s take a look at the expected features and engine specs of the upcoming Tata Sierra CNG.
Tata Sierra CNG: Confirmed?
As mentioned earlier, the prototype of the Tata Sierra was spied with equipment fitted for emission testing. The SUV already comes equipped with three engine options, including options of a turbo petrol, a naturally-aspirated petrol, and a diesel engine. It is also very clear that the brand is not testing any new engine options. Thus, the only logical explanation of the test mule with the equipment is the testing of the new CNG variant of the Tata Sierra.
