Tata Sierra AWD:  The Tata Sierra was launched in India in November 2025, and it has garnered significant media attention ever since. The brand is now planning to launch the electric iteration of the Tata Sierra in the country. Meanwhile, a recent prototype was spied testing on the road, and its exhaust was visible in the spy shots. This hints at the development of the Tata Sierra All-Wheel Drive (AWD). The brand has already confirmed that the Sierra will be launched with an All-Wheel Drive configuration along with a CNG fuel type. Let’s take a look at what can be expected from the upcoming Tata Sierra AWD.

Tata Sierra AWD: Spy Shots

The fresh spy shots feature a heavily camouflaged test mule of the Tata Sierra. The Tata Sierra EV is expected to be launched soon, and it could have been a test mule of the electric iteration of the SUV. However, a cutout for the exhaust was fully visible, hinting that the test mule is an Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) version. This also suggests that the brand has approved the testing phase for the Tata Sierra CNG/ Tata Sierra AWD.

Tata Sierra CNG/AWD: Features

The Tata Sierra AWD is expected to come equipped with the same set of features as the current model on sale. The list of features on the Sierra CNG might include a dual-screen setup with a touchscreen infotainment system and a fully digital instrument cluster. We can also expect the Sierra CNG to feature a white theme, a 4-spoke steering wheel, electrically powered seats, a dual-zone climate control system, a JBL music system, an electronic parking brake with auto-hold function, and more. We also expect that the All-Wheel Drive (AWD) configuration will be offered exclusively with the top-spec trims of the Tata Sierra. Thus, we expect the Sierra AWD to feature ventilated seats, auto-dimming IRVMs, Boss-Mode Seats, a panoramic sunroof, and a triple screen display, in addition to the above-mentioned features.
