Tata Sierra EV Teased:  The Tata Sierra EV is set to launch in India on June 30, 2026. The brand has been heavily teasing the upcoming Sierra EV ahead of its launch. The brand has recently teased the Quad-Wheel Drive (QWD) configuration for the first time. Notably, several prototypes of the Sierra EV have been spied testing on the Indian roads. The Sierra ICE was launched on November 25, 2025, and the launch of the Sierra EV has been much-awaited ever since. Let’s take a look at the recently released teaser, and expected range and specs of the upcoming Tata Sierra EV.

Tata Sierra EV: New Teaser

As mentioned earlier, the brand has recently teased the Tata Sierra EV QWD for the first time. This is the second time the brand has teased the Sierra EV, but the first time it has been seen with QWD. Notably, the Sierra EV will feature a QWD, similar to the Harrier EV, which also features a QWD setup with dual electric motors. The recently released teaser shows the Sierra EV cruising through the desert. The shade is seen on the Sierra EV for the first time, too.

Tata Sierra EV: Expected Design

As per the teaser, the Sierra EV shares its overall contour and design with the ICE model. However, several design elements will provide it with a distinct look. The Tata Sierra EV features a closed grille at the front, with the air intake placed lower on the front bumper. The ADAS panel is integrated in the centre of the air intake. On the sides, it gets aerodynamic wheels, and other elements, such as flush door handles and body cladding, remain similar to those of the ICE Tata Sierra.

Tata Sierra EV: Expected Features

The Tata Sierra EV is expected to come equipped with the same features as the ICE variant of the SUV. The 2025 Sierra comes equipped with features such as a triple-screen setup, Level 2 ADAS, panoramic sunroof, JBL Black sound system with Dolby Atmos, ventilated seats, a dual-climate control system, and more. We expect the upcoming Tata Sierra EV to come equipped with the same list of features.

Tata Sierra EV: Expected Range

While the Tata Sierra ICE is a front-wheel-drive vehicle, the Tata Sierra EV will be offered with rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel drive configurations. The Tata Sierra EV is expected to come equipped with options of a 55 kWh and 65 kWh battery pack, similar to the Tata Harrier EV. The maximum claimed range is expected to stand at 500 kilometres, once fully charged. We expect the Tata Sierra EV to be priced between Rs 18.50 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 25.50 lakh (ex-showroom) in the country.
