Tata Sierra EV Range:  The Tata Sierra EV is set for launch tomorrow in India. The brand has been heavily teasing and promoting its upcoming electric SUV. The brand recently shared another promotional video of the Sierra EV. The video features the Sierra EV conquering the Tal Moreeb dune in Abu Dhabi, also known as the Terrifying Dune. The video has further revealed several features of the Sierra EV. Let’s take a look.

As mentioned earlier, the latest promotional video by the brand features the Tata Sierra EV climbing the Tal Moreeb dune in Abu Dhabi. The video has also revealed several bits that the Sierra EV will come equipped with. To begin with, the trailer shows a large panoramic sunroof, which seems identical to the Sierra ICE.

Additionally, the Sierra EV will also feature 6 terrain modes, including Road, Rocks, Snow, Deserts, and more. The new promotional video also confirms that the Sierra EV will generate a peak torque output of 500 Nm, and Boost Mode is also visible in the video. Moreover, the cluster shows 423 kilometres worth of range with 80 per cent battery remaining/ Thus, we can expect the Sierra EV to deliver more than 500 kilometres of range, once fully charged.

Tata Sierra EV: Design

As mentioned earlier, the brand recently released a new teaser revealing the look of the upcoming Tata Sierra EV. As per the recent teaser, the Sierra EV shares its overall silhouette and design with the ICE model. However, several design elements provide it with a distinct look. The Tata Sierra EV features a closed grille at the front, with the air intake placed lower on the front bumper. The ADAS panel is integrated in the centre of the air intake. On the sides, it gets aero-optimised wheels, flush door handles and thick black body cladding, which remain similar to those of the ICE Tata Sierra. On the rear, it features the same connecting taillight setup as its ICE counterpart, and the only noticeable difference is the Sierra.EV badge on the tailgate.

Tata Sierra EV: Features

The brand has revealed the exterior design elements of the Sierra EV, and the interior and features remain hidden. We expect the Tata Sierra EV to come equipped with the same features as the ICE variant of the SUV. The 2025 Sierra comes equipped with features such as a triple-screen setup, Level 2 ADAS, panoramic sunroof, JBL Black sound system with Dolby Atmos, ventilated seats, a dual-climate control system, and more. We expect the upcoming Tata Sierra EV to come equipped with the same list of features.

Tata Sierra EV: Expected Range & Price

While the Tata Sierra ICE is a front-wheel-drive vehicle, the Tata Sierra EV will be offered with rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel drive configurations. The brand has confirmed the dual-motor Quad Wheel Drive (QWD) setup on the Sierra EV with a recent teaser. The Tata Sierra EV is expected to come equipped with options of a 55 kWh and 65 kWh battery pack, similar to the Tata Harrier EV. As mentioned earlier, the maximum claimed range is expected to be more than 500 kilometres, once fully charged. We expect the Tata Sierra EV to be priced between Rs 18.50 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 25.50 lakh (ex-showroom) in the country.
