Tata Sierra EV Vs Mahindra BE6:  The Tata Sierra EV has become the seventh electric car offered by the brand in the Indian electric car market. The Sierra EV has been launched with prices starting from Rs 18.79 lakh (ex-showroom), and it comes equipped with a slew of advanced features. The Mahindra BE 6 is one of the most popular electric cars in India, and it is also a fierce rival of the newly launched Sierra EV. Tata Sierra EV: Variants & Prices

The Tata Sierra EV will be offered in a total of 5 variants: Pure, Pure S, Adventure, Empowered, and Empowered A. The variants have been further segregated depending on the battery pack. Mahindra BE 6: Variants & Prices

The Mahindra BE 6 is available in a total of 4 trims, diversified into a total of 6 variants based on the battery pack. The base-spec Pack One trim with 59 kWh is priced at Rs 18.90 lakh (ex-showroom), whereas the top-spec Pack Three with the 79 kWh battery pack is priced at Rs 26.90 lakh. While the base-spec of the BE 6 is costlier by Rs 11,000 than Sierra EV’s base trim, the top-spec costs Rs 91,000 more than the top-spec of the latter. Tata Sierra EV Vs Mahindra BE 6: Features

The Tata Sierra EV comes equipped with the same set of features as its ICE counterpart. It comes packed with a triple screen setup, a smart air purifier, ambient lighting, ventilated and electrically powered front seats, a panoramic sunroof, a 12-speaker JBL Black sound system with Dolby Atmos, a dual-zone climate control system, a Level 2 ADAS Suite, and more.

The Mahindra BE 6, on the other hand, also comes equipped with a slew of advanced features, including a dual-display setup with 12.3-inch screens, ventilated front seats, a panoramic glass roof, auto park assist, a Level 2 ADAS suite, 7 airbags, an electric tailgate, dual wireless charging pads, a heads-up display, ambient lighting, and more.

Tata Sierra EV Vs Mahindra BE 6: Range & Specs

The Tata Sierra EV comes equipped with options of either a 63 kWh or a 75 kWh battery pack, and it has the maximum claimed range of 665 kilometres, once fully charged. The Mahindra BE 6 also comes with the option of either a 59 kWh or a 79 kWh battery pack, and it has a claimed range of up to 683 km on a full charge. The Sierra EV comes equipped with a QWD (Quad-Wheel Drive) setup, which is the All-Wheel Drive setup offered by Tata. The BE 6 by Mahindra misses out on an AWD setup, and it can generate a peak power output of 282 hp. The Sierra EV can generate a peak power output of 305 hp with its QWD setup, which uses dual electric motors.
