Tata Punch CNG:  The Tata Punch has left behind the likes of popular SUVs such as the Hyundai Creta, Mahindra Scorpio, and Tata Nexon to secure the position of best-selling car in India in July 2026. Notably, the Tata Punch is the only SUV to make it to the top 5 best-selling cars too. The Punch was introduced to the Indian market in 2021, and it has remained one of the most popular SUVs ever since.

Tata Punch July 2026 Sales

The Tata Punch received a facelift this year, which was launched in January. The facelift model has further increased the sales of the micro-SUV. The Punch dethroned the Maruti Suzuki Dzire to become the best-selling car in India in June 2026. In July 2026, the SUV slipped from the top position to fifth, but it has emerged as the best-selling SUV in the country for the month. A total of 21,313 units of the Punch were sold in July 2026, and the SUV has registered a year-on-year growth rate of 97.62 per cent.

Tata Punch Facelift 2026: Features

The SUV received significant changes inside the cabin with its new facelift model. The new Punch facelift 2026 features a dual-tone interior, a fully automatic climate control system, central control with armrest, touch-based HVAC panel, a 7-inch fully digital instrument cluster, a 360-degree surround view camera, a 10.25-inch touchscreen-based infotainment system, auto-dimming IRVM, and more.

Tata Punch Facelift 2026: Engine Specs

The Punch facelift 2026 also got a new 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine while retaining the same engine options that the earlier model used to come equipped with. The new 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission gearbox, and it can generate a peak power and torque output of 120 PS and 170 Nm, respectively. The new Punch facelift 2026 also offers a 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine, which can be mated to a 5-speed MT or 5-speed AT gearbox, and it can generate a peak power and torque output of 87.8 PS and 115 Nm, respectively. The CNG fuel option is also available with the Punch facelift 2026, and it can generate 73.4 PS and 103 Nm of torque.
