Tata Safari Red Dark Edition:  Tata Motors has launched the Ultra and Red Dark special editions for the Tata Harrier and Tata Safari diesel in India. While the Tata Harrier Ultra prices start from Rs 23.84 lakh (ex-showroom), the Safari Ultra edition is priced at Rs 24.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The brand has also commenced bookings for the Ultra and Red Dark editions of the Safari and Harrier, and prospective consumers can visit the brand’s official website or nearest authorised dealership to book it. Let’s take a look at the pricing, features, and specs of the newly launched Ultra and Red Dark editions of the Tata Harrier and Tata Safari.

Tata Safari & Tata Harrier Red Dark: Visual Changes

The Red Dark edition adds several fresh design elements to the exterior of both SUVs. The Harrier Diesel Red Dark edition features a nitro crimson paint finish, which is paired with blacked-out 19-inch alloy wheels, and the brake callipers are finished in red. The Red Dark edition provides a more sportier look to both SUVs, and it has been positioned at the top of the Safari and Harrier lineup.

Tata Safari & Tata Harrier Ultra Red Dark: Interior

On the inside, the Tata Harrier and Safari feature a Carnelian Red theme with red leatherette upholstery. The theme makes the cabin more sporty, and the Red Dark edition also comes equipped with a slew of features, including a 14.5-inch QLED touchscreen-based Hamon infotainment system. In terms of features, both of these SUVs also come equipped with Dolby Atmos audio setup, VisionSync memory ORVMs with automatic reverse dip, built-in navigation, dual-camera washer system, a sliding front armrest, a 65W Type-C fast charging port, and more.

Tata Safari & Harrier Ultra Red Dark: Engine & Specs

Notably, the Red Dark and Ultra trims were exclusively available with the petrol version of the Safari and Harrier. Now, the brand has extended the trims to the diesel versions too. The Tata Safari and Tata Harrier diesel are powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine, which can be paired with a choice of a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed torque converter. The engine can generate a peak power and torque output of 170PS and 350 Nm, respectively.
