Tamil Nadu CM Vijay Car:  Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) won Tamil Nadu elections 2026 and changed history by breaking the 50-year-long duopoly of AIADMK and DMK. Actor-turned politician Vijay has remained in the headlines ever since. He was recently seen driving the new Mahindra Bolero, inducted by the Tamil Nadu government. The images of CM Vijay soon went viral, and now, Anand Mahindra has reacted to the news.

Tamil CM Vijay Drives Bolero

Tamil Nadu CM Vijay drove the Mahindra Bolero at a vehicle flag-off event held at Chennai secretariat. He also inaugurated 40 new vehicles worth Rs 2.9 crore for the Department of Health and Public Welfare. He was handing out keys to the drivers assigned to the fleet when the last driver from the fleet invited Vijay to take the SUV for a ride. The images of the event soon went viral on social media. The driver was sitting on the passenger seat while Tamil Nadu CM Vijay drove the Mahindra Bolero SUV inside Chennai Secretariat.

CM Vijay Drives Bolero: Anand Mahindra Reacts

Anand Mahindra, chairperson of Mahindra & Mahindra, recently reacted to viral pics featuring Tamil Nadu CM Vijay driving the Mahindra Bolero SUV. Anand Mahindra shared his response on the social media platform X and said, ‘I’ve often said that the simple, rugged Bolero is my favourite car to drive. Delighted to see the CM at the wheel too…’ Anand Mahindra’s reaction went viral as well, and the post has accumulated more than 4.5 lakh views so far.

Meet The Mahindra Bolero

The Mahindra Bolero comes equipped with leatherette upholstery inside the cabin. It also features a new 7-inch touchscreen-based infotainment system, and audio-related controls are mounted on a new steering wheel. The Bolero is powered by the 1.5-litre mHawk 75 diesel engine, which generates peak power and torque output of 75bhp and 210Nm, respectively.
