Renault Triber Price:  The latest generation model of the Renault Triber 7 seater was launched in India in July 2025. But before even the Triber was introduced in the country, speculations of it featuring a 1-litre turbo petrol engine were high. Although the brand introduced the Triber in 2019, it didn’t even receive the more powerful turbo petrol engine when the latest generation model was launched. As per several reports, the Renault Triber will finally be receiving a more powerful 1-litre turbo petrol engine this year.

Renault Triber & The Turbo Petrol Engine

The engine in question is codenamed HR10, and while the Triber didn’t receive the engine in 2019 or with the facelift model in 2025, the Kiger was launched with the same engine in 2021. As per media reports, the HR10 1-litre turbo petrol engine will be offered not just with the option of CVT, but also with CNG, which will enhance the powertrain options for the MPV.

Renault Triber Turbo Petrol Engine: Specs

As per reports, the MPV is expected to receive the HR10 turbo petrol engine around September or October 2026. The HR10 engine is a 1-litre three-cylinder engine that also powers the Nissan Magnite or Renault Kiger. The engine can be paired with options of either a 5-speed manual or a CVT gearbox, and it can churn out a peak power and torque output of 100 hp and 160 Nm, respectively. The 160 Nm torque is expected to work really well with the Triber and enhance its load-hauling capacity.
