PM Modi Car:  Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently called to include electric cars in his security convoy. The prime minister has also urged citizens to reduce fuel consumption and has reduced the size of his convoy significantly. Here’s why PM Modi wants to include electric cars in his security convoy, along with the high-end SUVs that are currently a part of his security convoy.

PM Modi Car: Why He Wants Electric Cars?

The global fuel supply chain has been disrupted since the US-Iran war began on February 28, 2026, and it has also resulted in rising global crude oil prices. India is not facing any fuel shortage currently, and the government has also confirmed sufficient stocks. However, the US-Iran war poses the risk of a potential fuel shortage. Moreover, the adoption of electric cars is necessary for the country to tackle severe air pollution and reduce dependence on fossil fuels. The prime minister is setting an example by leading from the front, including EVs in his security convoy.
